*Peer counsellors are individuals who are trained by La Leche League South Africa and work in specifically targeted maternity obstetric units, clinics and government hospitals. La Leche League South Africa collaborates closely with Department of Health in this regards. Peer counsellors are able to complement the work of the nurses who are often too busy to provide one-on-one support to expectant and new mothers. The peer counsellors’ dedication to their work sees them work long past their required hours.

The main aim of the peer counsellor is to educate and support the mother in her quest to breastfeed her infant for 2 years and beyond. More than 3 510 peer counsellors have been trained in South Africa over the years.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. You can enter as many times as you like. 

  2. Each entry guarantees you a better chance at winning. An entry is defined as a payment received of no less than R50. (For example, a payment of R 100 gives you two entries.)

  3. The prize will only be shipped to an address in South Africa. If you need your prize shipped outside of South Africa, this will be for your own account. 

  4. Winner will receive 1 copy of Womanly Art of Breastfeeding (8th Edition) and 1 Boobies Classic Mug as illustrated.

  5. Please make sure your payment can be linked to your name - use the same email address on Payfast as you did to submit the entry form.

  6. Lucky Draw is open for the duration of August and will close on 31st August 2020 at 12h00 (+2 GMT). 

  7. Winner is drawn randomly and automatically through Random.org 

  8. In the event we cannot reach the winner within 3 days, a subsequent winner will be drawn. 

  9. Winner will be announced by Friday, 4th September at 17h00 on La Leche League Facebook Group, La Leche League Facebook Page and on our website.

  10. We won't share your contact information outside of La Leche League South Africa, however we might from time-to-time send you a communication (with the option to opt-out).
